The year of 2023. This year has been the year of redemption for me. I am a sports lover and used to collect the news of sporting event specially football and cricket. This year will witness so many sporting events specially for the football and cricket lovers in India. And yes, mohun bagan is back. Chairman Sanjiv Goenka after the winning of Isl says Atk has been removed and from this next season Mohun bagan will play as Mohunbagan Super Giant.

If we look into the Indian cricket, at present for the last one month Indian Premier League is going on and it will be held for another month. In the month of June, 2023 there will be World Test Championship final between India and Australia. It will be held in the Lords Cricket Ground in London. There will be asia cup held in Pakistan and the Cricket World cup(One day 50 overs match) will be held in India this year and it will be fun. This are big cricketing event.

For the Indian football lovers, Isl and super cup are already completed. Mumbai city fc will play against the leading club of Asian giants in the Afc Champions league. Mohun bagan will play against Hyderabad to secure its place in Afc cup. Indian National football team will play Inter-Continental cup in this year against Lebanon, Vanuatu and Mongolia. North Korea was the Champion of the previous edition of this tournament. India won hero tri nation cup against Kyrgyz republic and Mayanmar. India will also play Afc Asian cup against leading Asian footballing nation this year in Qatar.

Mohun bagan this year also won the Calcutta Hockey Tournament. Lets see if bengal tigers can win this years kabaddi championship.
