I have never been to Germany.
But still I love this country.
For me it is a country of dream.
I had a Jersey of Germany football team.
Lahm, Ballack, Close was my favourite Euro cup star.
Gerd Muller came to Howrah along with its U23 team,
The youth team of Bayern Munich.
Thomas Muller and Holger was in that youth team.
Bayern Munich, my favourite club team was then.

Oliver Kahn, the great wall.
Who played his farewell match against my beloved Mohun Bagan.
In 2008, Bayern ruled the Europe that year.
Oliver Kahn played in front of 1,20,000 people.

But still you may ask why not U.S or U.K?
Specially if you are an Indian,
You will definitely feel.
Germay suffered the partition like India.
But Germans could break the wall.
The wall of division, difference and disdain.
Or we can say the wall of hatred.
As a student of Howrah Vivekananda Institution-
I heard the name of Max Muller,
The great German philosopher.
There is a Max Muller Bhawan in Kolkata.

In my childhood I used to read his book.
Specially his communication with Swami Vivekananda.
History was always my favourite subject.
I still remember those days, when I was in class eight.
At that time Bengal was ruled by communists.
So Karl Marx was well known from primary school.
So as Bishmark, Hegel, Kant.
Subhas Chandra Bose, a bengali, India’s super hero.
Who got help from Germans for the fight for our independence.
Satyendra Nath Bose, a bengali, inspiration for the scientists.
Bose-Einstein theory is still relevant to decode many mysteries,
The mystery of this universe.
Einstein even met Rabindranath Tagore in 1930-31.
Who was the first Asian noble laureate.

Germany means comeback against odd,
Germany means history, pride and glory,
Germany means India’s trusted friend.
Germany which fight back against nazi rule.
You said fighting spirit, never give it up-
